We deliver SCORM or xAPI packages that record progress and scores in your platform.

Organized digitization

We turn manuals, presentations and recorded classes into consistent digital resources.

Instructional review

Every deliverable goes through content, design and functionality review before it is published.

What is e-learning content creation and who is it for?

E-learning content creation is the process of designing and producing digital learning materials around a specific training objective. It is not about uploading slides to a platform, but about organizing knowledge so a person can learn independently, at their own pace and with evidence of achievement.

At Instruccionarte we work with training, HR and L&D departments, government agencies and educational institutions in Peru and Latin America. Our service is useful if you have valuable knowledge in documents, presentations or in your experts' heads, and you need to turn it into consistent online courses.

We combine instructional design, graphic design, audiovisual production and development. That way, every course has a solid instructional structure and a polished visual presentation.

Problems that well-designed content solves

Good e-learning content closes the gap between what your organization knows and what your employees apply. These are the most common problems clients bring to us:

  • Scattered material: stand-alone manuals, PowerPoints and videos that nobody finishes reviewing.
  • Unengaging courses: text-heavy screens and low completion rates.
  • Outdated content: old courses that no longer reflect current processes or regulations.
  • Lack of evidence: no assessments or records to demonstrate learning.
  • Dependence on instructors: training only happens when a trainer is available.

Our work organizes that knowledge, turns it into interactive experiences and makes it ready to be measured from your platform.

We also solve a less visible problem: your experts' lack of time. They master the subject, but they do not always know how to teach it in a digital format. We conduct the interviews, write the script and ask them only for specific approvals, so their involvement is brief and focused.

What the service includes: design, development, improvement and digitization

The service covers four lines of work that you can hire together or separately, depending on the state of your material.

Custom design

We define learning objectives, module structure, instructional script and a visual style aligned with your brand. The result is a clear plan before a single screen is produced.

Content development

We produce the complete course: interactive screens, activities, case studies, assessments and downloadable resources. If you need it, we add educational video resources such as animated videos or voice-over.

Content improvement

We review existing courses and refresh them: we update information, reduce text, add interactivity and fix technical or navigation issues.

Content digitization

We turn classroom or printed material into digital resources. A procedures manual, for example, can become an interactive PDF, an infographic and a SCORM module with a final assessment.

All content is adaptable: it is built in blocks so you can update it or reuse it in other programs.

Formats and deliverables you can request

We choose the format based on the objective, the audience and the platform where the course will be published.

FormatWhen it works best
SCORM courses (1.2 and 2004) or xAPIWhen you need to track progress, scores and certification in your LMS.
Interactive videoTo explain processes with questions or decisions inside the video.
Interactive PDFFor reference guides with a navigable index, links and editable fields.
InfographicsTo summarize procedures or regulations in a single visual piece.
MicrolearningTo reinforce specific topics in capsules of a few minutes.

We can produce with industry tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, iSpring Suite or H5P. If your team already uses one of them, we deliver the editable source files.

How we create your content

We follow a six-step process that gives you visibility and approval points at every stage.

  1. Analysis and objectives: we review your material, the audience and the expected results.
  2. Learning material development: we write the instructional script with your subject matter experts.
  3. Instructional review and adaptation: we adjust language, sequence and activities.
  4. Design and audiovisual production: we create screens, graphics, animations and voice-overs.
  5. Final content digitization: we build the course and package it in the agreed format.
  6. Implementation and measurement: we test the course in your LMS and review the first results.

At each step we show you a concrete deliverable, such as the script, a screen prototype or a test version, so you can approve it before we continue. That way, changes happen early rather than at the end.

Timelines depend on length and complexity. A short capsule can be done in a few weeks, while a multi-module program is planned in partial deliveries so you can validate progress.

Use cases

Content creation adapts to very different needs. Some common scenarios:

  • A 30-minute onboarding course that introduces the culture, structure and internal policies to every new employee. Learn more about virtual employee onboarding.
  • An occupational health and safety program with case studies and assessment, designed to meet the periodic training required by regulations. See our online occupational safety courses.
  • Converting a customer service manual into infographics, an interactive PDF and a module with dialogue simulations.
  • Updating an old Flash or narrated PowerPoint course to a modern, mobile-friendly format.

What determines the price of e-learning content

The price depends on the actual work each course requires, not on a fixed rate. The most influential factors are:

  • Length and number of modules in the final course.
  • Level of interactivity: from screens with simple activities to simulations and branching scenarios.
  • Multimedia resources: animations, videos, professional voice-over or custom illustrations.
  • State of the source material: starting from a well-organized manual is not the same as starting from scattered information.
  • Authoring tool and output format, as well as delivery of source files.
  • Timelines and number of review rounds.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about Content Creation, answered

What do I need to give you to start creating a course?

Whatever material you have is enough: manuals, presentations, procedures or recordings. We also need access to a subject matter expert in your organization to validate the technical content. If there is no prior material, we build it from interviews.

Does the content work in Moodle or another LMS platform?

Yes. We deliver SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 or xAPI packages, which are standards compatible with Moodle and most LMS platforms. Before final delivery we test the package on your platform or in an equivalent environment.

Can you improve a course we already have?

Yes. We review the course, identify content, design or functionality issues and propose specific improvements. You can choose a targeted update or a complete redesign.

What is the difference between digitizing and virtualizing a course?

Digitizing means converting material into a digital format, for example a printed manual into an interactive PDF. Virtualizing means redesigning the entire learning experience for the online environment. Learn more about course virtualization.

Do we receive the editable source files?

Yes, if agreed in the proposal. We deliver the files from the authoring tool used, such as Storyline or Rise, so your team can make future changes.

Do the courses look good on mobile phones?

We design with mobile devices in mind when your audience uses them. Formats such as Rise 360 or H5P adapt naturally to small screens, and in other formats we adjust the design to keep it readable.

How long does it take to create an e-learning course?

It depends on length, interactivity and how available your experts are for reviews. A short capsule can be ready in a few weeks, and a large program is organized in partial deliveries. The proposal includes a specific schedule.

Can you use our visual identity?

Yes. We apply your logo, colors and fonts, or we create a dedicated visual style for the course if you do not have a brand manual.

Do you include assessments and certificates?

We include in-course assessments that report the score to your LMS. The certificate is usually issued by the platform when the learner passes, and we help you set it up.

How are reviews and changes handled?

The proposal defines how many review rounds each stage includes. This avoids rework and keeps the schedule on track. Additional changes are quoted separately.

Do you work with government agencies?

Yes. We adapt the proposal to each agency's procurement requirements. Learn more about e-learning for government.
