Benefits

Why choose Instruccionarte

Reorganized material

We structure your content into short modules with clear objectives. Learners know what they are learning and why.

Wider reach

The same course reaches different locations, shifts and regions. You no longer depend on getting everyone into a classroom.

Self-paced

Each person progresses when they can and resumes where they left off. Ideal for teams on rotating schedules.

Objective assessment

Questions are graded automatically and recorded. You have evidence of who passed and with what score.

Progress data

Your platform shows who started, who finished and where people get stuck. You decide based on real information.

Lower cost per learner

You invest once in production and reuse the course for every new cohort or new hire.

What is course virtualization and who is it for?

Course virtualization is the process of transforming classroom training into an online course that works without a live instructor. It is not about uploading slides to a platform: it means reorganizing the content, creating activities and designing assessments for independent learning.

This service is for organizations that already have the knowledge, but in formats designed for the classroom. We work with:

  • Companies that repeat the same onboarding, product course or procedure training every month.
  • Government agencies that must train staff in different regions to the same standard.
  • Universities, colleges and training centers that want to offer courses or certificate programs online.

If your material lives in PowerPoint, PDF manuals, Word guides or Zoom recordings, that is a good starting point.

Problems that virtualizing your courses solves

Virtualization removes the dependence on an instructor, a classroom and a schedule for your team to learn. These are the most common problems clients bring to us:

  • The course depends on one person. If the specialist leaves or has no availability, training stops.
  • Recorded classes do not work. One-hour videos without breaks or questions have low completion rates.
  • There is no evidence of learning. An attendance sheet does not prove that someone understood the procedure.
  • The message changes depending on who teaches. Each facilitator explains it their own way and the standard is lost.
  • Training at remote locations is expensive. Travel, per diems and time away from the job add up quickly.

A well-designed online course delivers the same content to everyone and records every attempt.

How we adapt your classroom material to an online format

We adapt the material using instructional design criteria: we start from what learners must be able to do when they finish, not from the order of your slides. This is how each type of input is transformed:

What you haveWhat we turn it into
Text-heavy PowerPointShort screens with diagrams, examples and click activities
PDF manuals and proceduresStep-by-step modules, case studies and downloadable resources
Recorded Zoom or Teams classesVideos edited into short segments with embedded questions
Classroom activities and workshopsDecision scenarios, drag-and-drop exercises and branching cases
Paper examsQuestion banks with feedback and automatic grading

Your organization's subject matter expert validates the technical content. Our team handles the structure, screen writing and production. To see the full method, read our guide how to move a course online step by step (in Spanish).

What you get: deliverables and formats

You receive a complete, tested course ready to publish, along with the files you need to maintain it. The typical package includes:

  • Approved instructional script, with objectives, content and activities for each module.
  • Interactive course in SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 or xAPI, or in web format if you do not use a platform.
  • Multimedia resources: explainer videos, infographics, voice-overs or animations, depending on the scope.
  • Assessments: pre-assessment, in-course and final, with question banks.
  • Supplementary material as interactive PDFs or downloadable guides.
  • Editable source files from the agreed tool, such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate or iSpring Suite.

If you do not have a platform yet, we can also help you with the implementation of an LMS such as Moodle.

What about assessments and certificates?

Assessments are redesigned to measure what learners can actually do, and they are recorded in your platform. Together with you, we define the passing score, the number of attempts and whether questions are shuffled on each attempt.

Types of assessment

  • Multiple choice, true or false, matching and sequencing questions.
  • Case studies where learners choose what to do in a real situation from their job.
  • Immediate feedback that explains why an answer is right or wrong.

Certificates of completion

The course sends the completion status and score to your LMS. With that data, the platform issues the certificate of completion automatically. We design the template with your visual identity and the information you need, such as name, course, date and hours.

If the course addresses a regulatory requirement, it is advisable to check the current regulation and applicable record-keeping requirements with your legal department.

How we work and reference timelines

We follow our six-stage process, with your approval at the end of each key phase:

  1. Analysis and objectives. We review your material, the audience and the target platform.
  2. Learning material development. We write the script and the module structure.
  3. Instructional review and adaptation. Your expert validates the content and we adjust the activities.
  4. Design and audiovisual production. We create screens, graphics, videos and voice-overs.
  5. Final content digitization. We build the course and test it in your LMS.
  6. Implementation and measurement. We support the launch and review the first data.

Timelines depend on volume and interactivity level. A short course with organized material can be done in a few weeks. A multi-module program with video and simulations takes longer. How quickly your team completes reviews is the factor that most affects the schedule.

How to measure whether virtualization worked

You measure results with the data your platform records and with business indicators. We recommend defining them before you start:

  • Completion rate: how many enrolled learners complete the course.
  • Average score and missed questions: they reveal topics that need reinforcement.
  • Time in course: confirms whether the estimated duration is realistic.
  • Satisfaction survey: captures perceptions of clarity and usefulness.
  • On-the-job indicators: errors, incidents, repeated questions or ramp-up time for new staff.

With this data we adjust questions or screens in a later version. That way the course improves with use instead of staying frozen.

What determines the price and why choose Instruccionarte

The price depends on the redesign and production work, not just the number of slides. The main factors are:

  • Course length and number of modules.
  • State of the source material and how much needs to be rewritten.
  • Level of interactivity: guided reading, activities or simulations.
  • Audiovisual resources: voice-over, animated video or filming.
  • Delivery standard, languages and testing on your platform.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about Course Virtualization, answered

What is the difference between virtualizing a course and uploading my slides to a platform?

Uploading slides only changes where the material is viewed. Virtualizing means reorganizing the content, rewriting it for the screen and adding activities and assessments. The result is a course that can be understood without an instructor alongside.

What material do I need to provide to get started?

What you use in the classroom today is enough: presentations, manuals, guides, exams or recordings. We also need a subject matter expert from your organization to validate the technical content. With that, we prepare the initial analysis.

Can you convert recorded Zoom or Teams classes?

Yes. We edit the recordings into short segments, remove dead time and add questions or summaries between videos. If the audio or image quality is poor, we propose re-recording or turning that content into animations.

Will the course work on my Moodle platform or another LMS?

Yes, if your platform supports SCORM or xAPI, as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard and most corporate LMSs do. Before delivery we test the package in your environment or an equivalent one to confirm that progress and scores are tracked.

What if I do not have an LMS platform?

We can deliver the course in web format so you can publish it on your own server. If you need to record scores and issue certificates, we recommend implementing an LMS, and we can help you with that part.

How long does it take to virtualize a course?

It depends on length, the state of the material and the level of interactivity. A short course with organized content moves quickly, while a program with video and simulations takes longer. Once we review your material, we give you a stage-by-stage schedule.

Can I modify the course after delivery?

Yes. We deliver the editable source files in the agreed tool. Your team can make minor changes, or you can ask us for updates when a procedure or regulation changes.

How are certificates issued for the online course?

The course reports to your LMS whether the learner finished and passed. With that information, the platform generates the certificate of completion automatically. We design the template with your brand and the information you require.

Can a mandatory regulatory course be virtualized?

Yes, it is one of the most common uses, for example in occupational health and safety. Your specialist validates the technical content, and we recommend checking the current regulation on delivery format and record-keeping. That way the course fulfills both its training and documentation purposes.

What about the confidentiality of my material?

We treat your material as confidential information and use it only for the project. If your organization requires it, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving the files.

Can you virtualize a complete program with several courses?

Yes. In that case we define a visual template and a common structure for all the courses. This keeps them consistent, speeds up production and makes later maintenance easier.

How do I request a quote?

Message us on WhatsApp at 935 078 563 or use the contact form. Tell us the topic and the current length of the course, and share a sample of the material. With that, we will send you a scope proposal.
